A day woke up with the overall world wondering what was going on but the person who knew everything went out and spoke around 11 in the morning announcing that he’s stepping away from what was a stellar cricketing career. The overall career was stellar but something stood out- his ability to handle two things in such a way that reminded people that someone was missed dearly during that time from 2000–2007 in the cricketing field. His ability to move his foot both for the ball and the bat meant that he was the perfect fit for the wicket keeper batsmen as a whole- but now, the question was one thing- what if he had no idea that he was meant for a different career? No one ever asked that question but you see, here’s how the question was often there but not quite there. But you see, the person who has the answer is him and he alone catches it and that is the problem. His ability to handle the ball often made people wonder one thing- he takes the ball as it comes and it never happens the other way around- simply put, he doesn’t change the direction of the ball during the initial course, he waits for it, understands the path, and changes the direction. Such a quality is what defines the wicket keeper batsman of India.

The person who stood out the most was Nayan Mongia until certain unfortunate events unfolded- what stood out was the fact that this is how the succession was cut short- it was almost a great succession being there. Saba Karim, the former wicket keeper was doing good but one thing stood out- the ball hit him in the eye and he went down for a lifetime. The problem was this: why would you not, oh wait, the questions were endless but no one accepted one simple thing- if a succession was being planned, where was the backup? Many people assumed that the line of wicket keepers starting from year 2000 were the backups of Saba Karim and hence, things moved forward. There were several questions on one simple thing: can it be that this is how the Indian Cricket Team were severely under prepared for the unfortunate events especially after the severe let down of the expectations of several people in India in such a way that after winning the world cup, there was one simple hope- the cup being closer to the home in such a way that it belongs to them one more time every decade.

This is how the whole world suddenly realized the truth about one simple thing: can it be that this is how the Indian Cricket Team wasn’t aware of the fact that the dependency was from almost all of the 360 degrees angle? This is when you would know the truth as such- the dependency on them was from all sides- from what angle would you then consider the various roles in the team? This angle would be one simple thing- focus on exclusively one simple thing, multi-tasking, and focusing on two simple things- wherein the use of simple thing/things is done intentionally to avoid discussion on the overall abilities to ensure that this is how it can never be quantified and hence, such a question is redundant.

Starting off with Nayan Mongia, the path was really different- there was a lot of hope on the experienced team consisting of Javagal Srinath, Venkatesh Prasad, Ajay Jadeja, Nayan Mongia, Mohammed Azhruddin among others to win world cups among others but you see, the question was that this is how were they equipped to handle external changes in the society along with the team- the startling answer was no after an unfortunate incident with South Africa. Then the question was always simple- could he have played on? The question was never answered- the answer is simple actually- he couldn’t have played on because here’s how the team is always quantified in terms of average and other numbers- the numbers simply didn’t match- it was important that it did as such.

There was a lot of hope riding on the experienced trio of Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, and Rahul Dravid after the match fixing scandal- many had never considered the possibility that they were considered as a replacement for the experienced players who had exited- with an young team having Sourav Ganguly at it’s helm, they went overseas and had a wonderful and surprisingly wonderful success at various venues. The goal was to understand the perfected long run plan- several wicketkeeper batsmen along with several players were tested out in the series- they shined and waned. The issue was always one simple thing- the consistency as such and thus, this is how they always were chances but sometimes things never panned out- at one stage, there were plenty of contenders and at the other, there were none. This is how the smallest of things lead to several things that were left unsaid and some of it stormed the decade with both discrete and indiscrete scandals as such.

Ajay Rathane went on to the West Indies tour with a lot riding on him and scored a ton along with other useful contributions before he realized that this is how he had to get over the psychological factor that he wasn’t a backup as such-thus, this is how he had to understand that no matter who came in, his spot was always up for grabs. The thought never entered his mind that this is how the overall wicketkeeping skill combined with the fact that the West Indies grounds offered huge assistance to pace bowlers meant that the focus was more on his batting as such- thus, this is where the idea should have been there that this is how his spot was always on the line as such- only his batting mattered to a larger extent as such but back home, it was a totally different story as such. This is when the need is more important than the want and hence, this is how you would understand that the shape of the stadium matters a lot more than anything else- in a hot, humid place, spacious places are important and thus, that’s how the stadiums and the overall environment is designed- it helps to understand one simple thing- can you know that this is how the in line is way more important than anything else? The reason being that out of ordinary is expected but only in front of a crowd and you will realize that this is how the place near the sea always has a particular climate for a season and hence, it is important to know what’s constant and what’s variable as such. The ordinary would often be the case for the routine but you need to know the truth about one simple thing: can it be that the routine would be depended on the overall path as a whole as such? The overall path itself would help not knowing that this is when the wicketkeeping skills not withstanding, it was important to understand the format as such- it was a Test Match as such- the question of Test Match would always be the ability to spot the ball as such throughout the day and that itself would suggest a difficulty as such with the answer being the climate. The problem being that the Test Match would never ever be the answer to the long run for any player- it is important to know that the elements such as the crowd always give the answer to what’s important- well, always ask the batsmen about the sidescreen.

Partiv Patel was a young ray of hope in the Indian Dressing Room when he came in reminding a lot of the experienced pros of their times in their younger days which are still discussed in detail as such. This is when you would realize that the overall pros never realized that the decades were different- times vary. The aim is to understand how it impacted the youngster as such- he was made to believe that the mere way of pushing down or being made to push doesn’t guarantee a spot when you realize that the greats immediately understood that in the shorter run. This was however not before he settled comfortably in the shadows and waited for his chance- thus, a golden chance to seal his spot as an youngster was lost and it created a non-revocable dark spot in one of the great sportsmen of the decade, Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. He was made to believe that somehow he had to be guided- they waited for the big knock and positive intent for the wicketkeeping. It never came, they waited, chances came and he gave it his best shot. This is how you would realize that the cricketers never understood that the more he played, he was always called an youngster, not a person who could have lifted India in the positive manner for you see, unlike the past, the cricketer needed to understand that the depth of cricket has changed with changing stadiums, newer players, scandals among others- the youngster would have been a bright spot of sunshine in an otherwise darkened period. He still played regularly, overcame the natural problem of the short ball, and worked on improvement- yet, the overall issue was always the dusting up and getting up part was always the problem. This is how everyone realized that while the youngster had a lot to offer to the general public in terms of the cricketing field, it was always the question of going the extra distance- not to mention that the cricketing sponsors in terms of the car brands often expected him to in a metaphorical way, yeah. This is how it was always a conflict that the others always believed and now, probably it will never come out- did the experienced wicket-keeping prevent something? We will never know for you see, the youngster always wanted to push the limit but the natural movement would always see a spot of bother for you would know that this is how certain things matter- for example, the ability to understand the bowler’s intent and help in adjusting the positions of the fielders as such. The other part that went against him in the period was his inability to predict the conditions while moving in the left to right direction- this has a lot to do with the environment and it was important to understand that the environment is a factor right from childhood as such- the only way to overcome that would have been to step out and chill out. It was a risk worth taking for a youngster in a different place but without that, the understanding would have been never there for you see, it is important to understand how the stadiums changed from the time he started playing as such. For you see, the cricketing stadiums also offered a wide spectator breadth and it was important to be in line with that for you see, it was important to understand that the wider the breadth, the better the in line as such for you see, the youngster always had the age as his excuse but somehow, it never mattered. The only golden line from that era is that he’s still an active player with a lot to offer especially in the shortest format in Indian Premier League (IPL).

Deep Dasgupta received a call for the Indian cricket team and packed his pack and went about it. The world looked at the jubliant youngster as he prepared to handle the impact of the International cricket. It was a bright day in South Africa when he started and when he looked back, he realized one simple thing- the ability to understand the greater good path and thus, the futuristic predictions were the one for him as such. This was a path that he choose and stood by it- the wicketkeeping not withstanding, he didn’t understand the true impact of a selection for the Indian Cricket Team would be in the outside world of the stadium- his parents were congratulated and many waited. The problem lay with one simple thing- the fact that he always remembered that he was a backup for he was called at the last minute- no one understood why India didn’t consider the possibility that he would need a longer run for one simple thing: this is when they didn’t understand that he would need to know that it wasn’t just the keeping that mattered- his ability to not understand that he needed to push himself for it was a pitch that was relatively unknown. The push himself was needed for him as well as the Indian cricket team but you see, it was subjective- he wanted to blend in for the longer run but not one person understood that it was pre-decided for one simple thing: the drink mattered for the overall person on the ground realized that he would never be a social drinker. It was simple actually- he took a sip and emptied the bottle- no one knew that he was just thirsty. But, this meant one simple thing- it showed the truth about his background for you see, he was from Bengal. The most important thing was to understand why would that matter- it did for you see, it was the reason why he got into the team in the first place and thus, in the longer run, he saw his predictable future. The fact still remains that there were other ways in for you see, he never really understood one simple thing: when you came in as a replacement, wouldn’t you know that there were certain things that had to be done? Here’s how it moves forward: imagine a scenario in which you would prefer coffee and suddenly you see tea, all you need to know the truth is simple as such- ask for Deep Dasgupta verbally and you would realize that invariably you would oblige coffee- it is a simple trick as such. The fact remains that this is how the overall path mattered but you see, inherently, it was a way to let the whole world know the other thing was just a simple thing: not being able to understand that he was preferred for both domestic and international. The ability to stake a claim for either side or both sides mattered but he couldn’t pull through with that and that’s exactly how the problem started for you see, it matters on how you can understand the claim would work- it didn’t start off easy but understanding how to make sure that the knowledge was used for both wicketkeeping and batsmen mattered- that alone sets the tone. It was a career that had high hopes and brought a relative stability with it.

The man who stood out the most was the Indian wicket keeper batsman and the former vice captain of the Indian Cricket Team- Rahul Dravid. The way he came to the spotlight was his elegance in getting the front foot in such a way that it is almost perfectly aligned with the shot as such. This is how you would know the truth- he always had it aligned until the Natwest ODI series- it was historic series for the entire cricketing world as such. The first ever 300+ run chase was recorded as such- however, he was out of the spot that day for he realized the drastic change that was going to happen to the team as such. How would he know? That’s how you would realize that this is how he knew primarily because of the pitch- it was the final- all expected a full game as such but the pitch gave a different idea. He was worried- he saw the signs as such- a lot of them were out of the seat in the stands of the stadiums as such and he instantly knew that the wall of cricket has met its end for you see, no one was patient anymore. He noticed a lot more in the upcoming years as such and always understood the impact that the players had on the crowd as well- the impact was that the sedentary lifestyle was decided on the number of ways that the batsmen bats as such- that’s how it works. The way to know about it would be to know this: Close your eyes, imagine a cricketer stroking a ball and ask, am I there yet? You would know the answer and then ask, when? Simple as that. The aim is to know why he mattered so much- the answer being that the wall mattered for all for the veil is important to distinguish the intrinsic details of life. That wall would always be there is the external hope of the Indian Cricket Team.

The way it is designed is to know that this is how a role matters for the whole world- who takes it up would define the overall path. However, no one will ever acknowledge the reality- the role needs to be well defined but you see, it never has been. There’s always hope.
